Join Our Compassionate Palliative Care Team in Hertfordshire

We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for dedicated palliative care professionals to join our community-focused service, covering the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire areas. As the sole agency supplier for this service over the past nine years, we pride ourselves on providing long-term stability, making this an ideal position for those seeking continuity in their role.

About the Role:

This role involves providing vital end-of-life care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering both physical and emotional support to patients and their families during this important time.

You’ll be working either alone or as part of a team, assisting with personal care needs and offering comfort to both patients and their loved ones. To be successful, you’ll need to be compassionate, dependable, and professional, with the ability to travel between patient homes to ensure the highest standards of care.

  • Watford
  • Bushey
  • Abbots Langley
  • Chandlers Cross
  • Potters Bar
  • Barnet
  • South Mimms
  • Radlett
  • Elstree
  • Boreham Wood

Shift Patterns Available: (Shifts typically run Monday to Sunday from 08:00–20:00)

  • Early: 08:00-12:00 / 08:00-15:00 / 16:00
  • Late: 14:00-20:00 / 15:00-20:00
  • Long Day: 08:00-20:00 / 09:00-21:00

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Use of your own vehicle
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A minimum of 6 months of care experience

What We Offer:

  • Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle
  • Mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile

Competitive Pay Rates:

  • £12.82–£14.57 per hour (Mon–Sat)
  • £13.00–£15.00 per hour (Sun & Bank Holidays)
  • Mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile
